The engagement
How a cross-border search runs
Every engagement follows the National Reverse Recruiters Association's Standard Process. The cross-border version adds the work of translating a candidate into a market that doesn't know them yet.
- Target and feasibility. Which market, which roles, which level. A frank conversation about work authorisation, timing and compensation expectations in that market before anything is spent.
- Market map. Target companies in the destination market, the retained and contingent firms that serve them, and the named executives who hire at your level. This is research, not a list bought from a database.
- Positioning. Materials rewritten to the destination market's conventions: a two-page CV where a CV is expected, a résumé where it isn't, a LinkedIn profile that surfaces for the local search terms. Handled with iCareer Consulting.
- Direct approach. Introductions to search partners and hiring executives, on your behalf, in your voice where the channel calls for it. Recruiter distribution to the firms that actually run searches in your function.
- Interviews and offer. Preparation for the interview norms of that market, and negotiation support that accounts for local compensation structures and relocation terms.
- Weekly reporting. What went out, who responded, what's next. The engagement is a managed campaign, and it is reported like one.
What we don't do
We are not an immigration practice and we don't sponsor visas. Where work authorisation is the deciding factor we'll say so early and point you to the right specialist. We also don't promise a role; we back the engagement with an interview guarantee, which is the part of the outcome we control.
